Originally from New Zealand, I have now lived in London for nearly a decade. After moving over for what I imagined would be a couple of years to travel Europe and gain some valuable life experience, I fell in love with the place and have made it home.

I love people and wanted to learn more about what made them tick so within my business degree I double majored in Human Resource Management and Psychology – which comes in handy with friends, family and colleagues to this day!

Following university I launched headfirst in to employment, working for an international events company managing charity events. There, I was fortunate enough to work with many famous faces – the highlight being involved in bringing President Bill Clinton to New Zealand to take part in Global Business Forum. After a short stint at ING Managed Funds working on various financial projects, I made the move to the bright lights of London.

While I found my feet I temped for a short stint, before taking a role as PA to Head of Finance, Risk and Control in government. After two years – and a realisation that London wasn’t finished with me yet – I was ready for a new challenge and found a role at Arsenal Football Club supporting the Retail Director. Not being a football fan to start with, I soon became one and am now an avid follower of Arsenal, and love to catch a game when I get the opportunity.

From there I joined Marks and Spencer, where I worked for three years in various PA roles across Marketing, Homeware, Lingerie, Beauty and Womenswear. After a short career break, I decided to take up some contract work while looking for my next opportunity and was fortunate enough to land at The Lighthouse Company for what was meant to be two month’s cover. I instantly fell in love with the team and the culture and was delighted to be asked by Kathleen to stay on permanently.

When I’m not working I love nothing more than to be at home with my partner Ben and puppy Reggie, as well as cooking and baking up a storm , visiting markets or holidaying in Europe any chance I can get!
